Photo Management & Collaboration Site

I am needing help locating an existing service, or application (open source) that will allow me to collaborate on photo's. - Web based (PhotoGallery, jAlbum, Coppermine) - Multi-User Access - User commenting - Smart Albums (based on tag, exif, xmp, etc) - Face recognition & tagging - Image updating (datetaken, location, title, description, etc) - I do not want the images damaged (prefer xmp stub files, or database) - Ability to export with data embedded into image I would prefer using an existing solution/code (open source) that is actively developed instead of custom dev. jAlbum almost was my choice as-is since it is easy to edit on the desktop and push to webserver. Only one skin supports commenting but it is not easily accessed. I would be ok limiting updates to me only if I have to use a full app, as long as I can see a list of comments on images. The purpose of all this is that I recently acquired old photos and need family members help identify people in the images. I am currently using MylioX to manage my photos as it stores data in XMP files and does not harm the image. PLEASE NOTE: Please read all of the details above before contacting me.
