This project is for a "funny pix" website.
I would like to have a script made which will crawl about 3 sites every hour and look for new images to add to my gallery. It should be very easy because these sites all run RSS feeds. The only information that will need to be parsed, is the title of the image, and the image itself. I will then need them added to a database, where there will be a table including fields for each image: Title, Image, Comments, Rating, and Views. I will need a simple page (easy for me to customize) which will display all of the images in the database (in groups of 20 images per page). There should be a feature at the top where the user can sort the images by rating, number of comments, or number of views. This page will only display the title of the image, and the image's thumbnail. Once users click an image, it should take them to a page which will display the image title, the full sized image, it's rating (1-10), comments it has received, a "rate this image" drop down list, and a "post comment" box which has a field for the user's alias, and his or her comment.
