Fix Joomla Database issues Error 1146 Table 'xxx.#__updates' doesn't exist

This project is a very small and quick project which has come about after updating recently I am getting the above error when trying to update or create menu's, below is the report from joomla. Joomla will not "fix" using the tools in the control panel Database schema version (3.6.3-2016-08-16) does not match CMS version (3.8.9-2018-06-19). Table 'v3xw5_updates' does not have column 'infourl'. (From file 2.5.0-2012-01-10.sql.) Table 'v3xw5_updates' should not have column 'categoryid'. (From file 3.0.0.sql.) Table 'v3xw5_updates' does not have column 'extra_query'. (From file 3.2.2-2013-12-22.sql.) Table 'v3xw5_updates' has the wrong type or attributes for column 'version' with type varchar(32). (From file 3.2.2-2014-01-18.sql.) Table 'v3xw5_menu' has the wrong type or attributes for column 'checked_out_time' with type datetime. (From file 3.7.3-2017-06-03.sql.) Table 'v3xw5_content' does not have index 'idx_alias'. (From file 3.8.2-2017-10-14.sql.) Table 'v3xw5_user_keys' should not have index 'series_2'. (From file 3.8.4-2018-01-16.sql.)
