Event Espresso 4

Primary Objective Upgrade and migrate Event Espresso 3 to Event Espresso 4 with previous customizations made on Event Espresso 3. Secondary Objectives • Install SSL certificate; • Configure Event Espresso 4 message templates to match Event Espresso 4 e-mail templates. Main Customizations • Creation of [ESPRESSO_VENUE_EVENTS_MULTIVENUE] shortcode to replace [ESPRESSO_VENUE_EVENTS] shortcode for displaying multiple venues per course and geographic location; • Addition of several filters in the Wordpress admin view to sort event and attendee data; • Associate venues by course to reduce steps in administrator workflow; • Modifying presentation of attendee and event data in the exported spreadsheet file. Other Customizations There are also several minor customizations that have been made to Event Espresso 3 that the code can be provided for easier integration with Event Espresso 4. Examples include: • Displaying price options as radio buttons rather than a dropdown; • Displaying total attendees in admin view; • Displaying price options in automatically generated PDF invoice; • and more. Technical qualifications: • Proficiency in PHP in a Wordpress environment. Can you code PHP functions then hook their actions to Wordpress in your sleep? • Experience in MySQL that extends past simple queries. Are you able to install the current site on a localhost environment then migrate the final site to the host server? If any issues arise in the migration process, can you troubleshoot it? • Prior experience with Event Espresso is a major asset. • HTML/CSS/Javascript expertise is not absolutely necessary, but would help!
