Customize wordPress website

These should be websites on which you personally contributed significant portions of the design and programming. We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. I need someone who requires little guidance and can work on their own to fix existing websites, and develop new ones based on wordpress. Familiarity with Woo Commerce is a plus. If you are a developer who can identify issues on a site, take a high level requirement and run with it, then this is a good fit for you. If you are a developer that needs step by step instructions on what to do, hand holding, and you can not think out of the box - then this job ISNT for you! Responsibilities: Develop new user-facing features Build reusable code and libraries for future use Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Great applicants will have: Wordpress Experience Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Sketch or Photoshop is a plus. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them. (CSS, Sass, and Git) Applicants Must Be Very Familiar With All 3 Should be able to convert mockups to HTML, SCSS / CSS considering the most minute details
