E-commerce website for ordering of custom made paintings

I am looking to develop an e-commerce website where global customers can order a hand-made painting from an artist. This would mean there is a non-standard product which requires some communication between buyer, artist and customer service. Some of the required functions could be build based on the back of one of the e-commere templates (shopify or magento) but some at least require some customization, for example a simple back-end system for artists/suppliers to accept orders and provide updates on progress. I am looking for a developer that could build the core of this website (see requirements below) whereby the design could be done by another freelancer. More information on project Order process of customer: Customer would select a size, medium (oil, charcoal, etc), provide their requirements and a picture. Back-end this order will be sent to an artist studio that makes the painting and uploads a picture on which the customer would give feedback (via a form). When the customer is happy with the result it will be sent to the customer. Aims: • To be the platform where consumers can easily order custom-made paintings • Let consumers browse previous work done to get inspiration for their painting • To inform them about possibilities, pricing and ways of working in an engaging way • To manage the communication with painter and themselves and approve work done • To convince consumers that it is safe and affordable to have a custom-made painting done • Provide an easy back-end for artists to accept work, communicate in a standardized way with buyer and provide status updates on work.
