GOAL: To develop a fully functional, optimized, secure, user-friendly, responsive and sleek looking car classified website. CORE: Must be PHP-based. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Buyers can view all listings, contact seller regarding a listing. Sellers (Private or Dealers) can list their cars for sale. Sellers will pay a fee to advertise based on a subscription system. Private sellers can list their cars on a pay as you go bases (one credit per car). Private sellers have either a 14 days or 30 days subscription option Dealers can buy bulk listing credits with recurring subscription option. The higher the subscription, the cheaper it gets per car. Sellers can upgrade or downgrade their profiles. SITE PAGES: Home Page Search Page (Multiple Taxonomy selection, AJAX Requests side bar, featured ads, sorting etc.) Category Page (With search side bars) Ad Page (With finance calculator) Login Page Register Page (Private Seller, Dealer) User Profile Page Post Ad Page (AJAX requests for linked taxonomies a must) Blog Page Finance Calculator Page Subscription Page Check Out Page Payment Confirmation Page Dealer stock profile page (Full customized with each dealer details) Fully SEO optimized pages. (Keyword, Meta, Title etc.) Other pages based on project development and analysis. Taxonomies (Make, Model, Trim, Colour, Year, Condition, Location, Mileage, Fuel Type, Body Type, Price, Transmission, Seller Type, Keyword, Drive Trim) Model Site 1: [login to view URL] (Major) Model Site 2: [login to view URL] (Minor) GENERAL THOUGHTS I will prefer a developer who has implemented something similar as this will get us started quicker and keep us on track. I have chosen WordPress because of the ease of use. However, I am open to other equally potent PHP-based alternatives or even a custom built system based on PHP. Project has to be in PHP because I have a working knowledge of PHP and would describe myself as a rookie web developer.
