Body shop vehicle management system for car service centre

The application would be consisting of four user interfaces: 1. Guard 2. Service Advisor 3. Job Controller 4. Admin 1. Guard UI It would the first user interface when the car enters the facility. It would consist of these modules. I. Gate in:: Here the guard will enter the Car model, Registration number and the service type(body shop/service) of the vehicle and update the same. The car model will show in drop down. II. Gate Out :: Will show all the entries in a grid view that the guard enters at the gate in. Here he will also update the status of the vehicle like if it has gone for parking, road test or service has completed. Parking master would be available for the same. III. Service Completed: It will contain last 7 days entries of the vehicles whose service has been completed. A message will be triggered to the Team Leader/ AM/ GM if the number of vehicles are more than 60 at Harpreet Ford, Moti Nagar. 2. Service Advisor UI this will be an application for mobile as well as web based link .In this user interface the SA will open/update the check sheet (/open sheet/AWAC Sheet), Update the communication matrix(based upon which we would communicate with the customer) and will be able to see the delivered vehicles in the last 7 days. consist of the following modules I. All Vehicles: For new vehicles. It will show all the vehicles entered by the Guard at Gate in. On clicking Update the SA can start updating the vehicle details and all the other information that is part of the open sheet. II. Allocated Vehicle: It will contain all the open sheets whose print out has not been given(i.e. which are incomplete). On clicking update the SA can either update the open sheet, the contact log and view Images if already clicked. View images section will contain section for viewing images clicked at different timesUnder status 3 button will be available, for updating the open sheet, for viewing the images and last for updating the contact log. III. Vehicle In Service: It will contain all the those entries for which the open sheet print out has been given and a copy has been handed over to the customer. Here the advisor can view the open sheet, images stored and update the communication matrix and update th edocuments IV. Additional Approval : The additional task updated by the JC will be available here V. Reports: It will contain the entries for vehicles which have been delivered in last 7 days. 3. Job Controller UI In this all those vehicles will be there for which the open sheet print out has been given. Here the task to be done on the car will be updated as well as the the technician I. All Vehicles: All those vehicles for which the open sheet has been freezed. On clicking update the JC will update the task, technician name along with the promised date and time. Under the status will show Update button to update the task and contact log for updating the communication ma JC name will also be updated in this section. II. Scheduled Vehicle: In this section all the scheduled vehicles will be updated by the JC . Updation can be for end time, technician name and for addition of additional task. III. Rework Screen : Here JC will assign the rework to the technicians. IV. Repair Work Completed: This section will contain all those vehicles for which the SA has checked in the “Re-inspection done” in the communication matrix In all the section communication matrix will be visible for JC to update. The task to be done will be divided under 3 sections • Body :: This will again contain sub-section according to task • Paint :: This will again contain sub-section according to task • Others :: This will not contain any task since it will be for Grooming section 4. Admin UI This section will contain all the vehicles details in the following modules all the above screens for all the ui and editable rights section and also the masters
