Need Google Maps API - Moving Car using Lat/Long

I have an API that provides lat / longitude which is updated every second. I need to show a car on a map, that moves with the updating / lat / long from the API. Car needs to move smoothly a nicely. Needs to update via AJAX, so no hard reloading map etc. Please show reference of doing this in the past. Need done in 1 hour maximum
