Gift Idea Exchange

This is a "Web 2.0" style site that allows users to submit and explore gift ideas with other users. Refer to the attached wireframe, but the layout is similar to [login to view URL] and the interface and functionality is more like www.43things.com. It's simple: users submit gift ideas and tag them with keywords. The submit form would allow users to describe the item, upload an image and/or a link to another page (e.g. Amazon). Other users can then browse (by the tag "cloud" categories), search and comment on the gift ideas. There is a voting functionality that allows users to determine gift idea popularity (based on a preference to "give" or "recieve" that kind of gift). I've created a basic layout from which the rest of the site would derive from. It's very minimalist, and I will do all the wireframes which will serve as layout guidelines. I'd like the front end done in valid XHTML + CSS that will work on all modern browsers on Mac & PC. I've already setup the user managemement system based on this: [login to view URL] I'd like to integrate FreeTag for the tagging functions: [login to view URL] I have a domain and hosting account setup. I'd like to have a beta up and running by the end of October, if possible. I'd also like to integrate my Amazon afilliate ID that pulls items from [login to view URL] based on whatever the page the user is on (tag categories). ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform LAMP site, hosting already setup at MediaTemple.net.
