WordPress Portal Site

I need a WP Designer/Programmer to either take an existing premium template (such as Tribune) and customise it or start a WP template/site from scratch so that we can launch a Yahoo or Alltop style agreggator/portal. The portal will present immigration related news like [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] except it needs to be better designed and also include a section where I can sell eBooks. I will need to customise the portal to have featured news, blog posts, and web graphics (see [login to view URL]) that generate sales for my services via "channels" and a directory that lists different services and brands from my company.
