WEB 2.0 Wordpress Theme Design Tweaks & Modifications.

First off this project is to work 1 on 1 with a freelance designer. I don't want any firms bidding or any "BIG" teams unless I work one on one with the designer. You must be an expert in creating Wordpress Themes and designing using Web 2.0 fonts and custom buttons and graphics. I am ready to start this project today, I will give more details of the project here below. I have two Blogs that are fully designed and coded. * I have ideas on improving the background colors of the themes and certain buttons and usability aspects and colors. The Main Tasks you will do: TECH BLOG Edits: * Make Background Brighter (For example the background has green in it that is too bland, it should be a little brighter and more web 2.0. * Better placement of Social Media Buttons and certain aspects of Blog Post. Better Font for titles of Blog Post and for the actual written Blog Post. *Improve Logo & Header Design (Make more Web 2.0, Better Fonts,Brighter, More Fluid and connected, we want it to be visually striking) *Improve Colors within Sidebar and make sidebar more engaging, again use fonts that match the revised fonts of the blog post. *Subpages - They are Empty Right now, A couple images and graphics will suffice, mainly for the About Page and the Contact Page. So thats two pages that mainly need editing and perhaps the Advertising Page (have a graphic or two showing the size of the advertising boxes and the email contact info. Personal Blog (On Internet Marketing) Edits: * More Intuitive Background Combination (Right now the background colors don't match well enough for me and I think the background would be better with a lighter grey background that has texture in it. * Blog Post (Needs different Design for the Date and the Main photo for the blog Post, it doesn't catch the eye and I feel it could be better designed. *NAV - I feel it could look better and I have some ideas to improve it. *Use different social plugin for the blog posts. *Make Opt-In Form cleaner and more stand out (Should match ecover and really stand out) *Services Page - Needs to be more Stand Out, can use Font improvements (Larger) and Larger Buttons (Each service has a graphic button next to it) Contact Page - I really want this changed and more of a Web 2.0 Clear feel to it by using better fonts and better placement of buttons and writing. I have some examples of some better Contact Page Designs. *Setup RSS FEEDS (Feedburner or other) *Portfolio Page - Fix Up so it looks better. Websites will be shown to the Winner. Budget is around $200 total for the work, its mostly design work but it involves replacing certain aspects of the old design.
