Web Developer

We are a small creative design agency call Teo Designs. We are in need of talented and experienced developers on contract terms – per project basis. Must be able to work under minimal supervision as most of the work will be done from home. Here is the type of candidate we are looking for. We are looking for a smart, reliable, motivated, and organized creative designer who can not only design but implement, deploy, and maintain a website. Responsibilities: • Develop, revise, and update graphics and web sites based on company requirements • Create web development concepts based on company requirements • Create and refine-usable web site templates to improve department efficiencies • Develop web site architecture and determine software requirements • Source, select and organize information and design the appearance, layout and flow of the website, which are easily expandable • Create and optimize content for web site using a variety of database, animation and other software • Create and execute flash animation concepts and ideas • Produce web graphic content for various web sites including sites of other team members • Prepare proofs and presentations/intros to communicate “feel” of web site • Modify proofs based on client feedback • Create re-usable website templates • Creating add-ons or manipulating existing web sites • Maintenance of proper file structure, coding and conventions • Carefully review and edit copy before each proof • Insert appropriate title and meta tags according to site • Perform administrative duties when required Qualifications: • 5 + years of experience in a similar role • College or University degree in web design or related field • Strong knowledge of web design program and languages such as HTML, DHTML, XML, DOM, ActionScript, ASP, CSS and Javascript • Good methodology in documenting and testing your own code. • Able to work quickly and accurately • Ability to independently implement and maintain Web 2.0 technologies. • Understanding of web usability in order for site to properly convey information • Project management, prioritizing and problem solving skills • Punctuality and Reliability are a must • Someone who is passionate about their work and new technologies.
