Hello,

I am seeking a redesign for my existing ecommerce website [url removed, login to view] The existing website has over 500 clothing products, but the new website will be refocused with only approximately one dozen clothing products (each with many sizes and colors) as well as embroidery, screen printing, and electronic digitizing services. Currently, the site is both registered with and hosted by Godaddy. Email is with Godaddy also.

The new website will focus on selling and shipping clothing products worldwide, and also contain a limited amount of digital services such as electronic digitizing. I would like to create a whole new website design, appearance, and feel, as well as moving it to a new host. The new design should be ‘swish' and modern, similar to the websites below:

Currently, I am considering four potential solutions (in no particular order):

1. Drupal – Ideal, but possibly too expensive

2. Joomla

3. Magento

4. SquareSpace

At this time, I am not inclined to use either Wordpress or OsCommerce.

One challenge for this project is to select and integrate a shopping cart with my existing foreign payment gateway, Krungsri bank epayment, which is based in Thailand; you can see Krungsri epayment example pages at the links below. This will be a bit of a challenge, but not a show-stopper…I will be able to offer significant help working directly with the Krungsri IT people to get the help and tools needed for integration.

Ideally, I would like the new website design to:

• Have an appropriate shopping cart identified and successfully integrated with the Krungsri Bank epayment gateway

• Support worldwide shipping integration with EMS, DHL, and UPS

• Support multi language – Two languages will be available to start (English and Thai), but additional languages will be added later, so the website must be designed to accommodate future additional languages. Translation from English to Thai will be provided for the web designer.

• Be updatable for products, prices, and promotions by the website administrator

• Integrate social media including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, etc.

• Be designed for compatibility with smart phones and other devices

• Integrate Amazon ecommerce (eBay also, if possible)

• Support pay-per-click and be optimized for search engines. The new website will be advertised on Google, Yahoo, and other locations on the web (paid advertising) and must be designed to be highly searchable and listable

• Have a Site search

• Support a customer email contact

• Support a customer member area

• Integrate with Google maps

• Support some level of site / web analytics to track effectiveness

I am the owner of this small business which was founded in 2005. I currently have seven employees, and am trying to grow, but money is tight. I have no partners, business loans, etc., so the budget is very small…everything comes out of my checkbook. Please indicate a cost range estimate for this project. I am available for a telecon Q&A if needed prior to final pricing, but I would like to receive an initial cost range estimate up-front to ensure mutual interest.

It is my intention to develop a long term relationship with the web developer; not a one-time transaction. I have many, many ideas that I fully intend to implement with the website in the near future, but this must be taken one step at a time. The immediate need is to transform the existing ancient, ineffective website into a new, dynamic mechanism to fully utilize the web and grow my sales.

Thanks very much,

Jeff Beach
