Church Website Developer

I was recently appointed to be the project manager for our church's website. I am seeking a contractor to developing and build our church website Pre selected design template We have a domain name and currently we have a contract with a "Click 'n' Build" church website, FaithConnector, who has design templatea and provide a full helpdesk including email and phone support. We have a preselected design template OR Build from Ground up However if you would like to suggest building from the ground up please disclose start-up cost, hosting fees, and maintenance fee upgrades. Also, We need to know rate for any changes in features we make to the site after build and design. Looking for someone who will provide the following services Content Writing or generating content skills. Will need someone with good writing and grammatical skills in American English to create content. Someone who will strike a balance between professional writing and informal speech since we would like someone that is not familiar with 'the church', or ‘church jargon’ to understand what s/he is reading on our website Graphics and design skills It is vital to have an attractive site, so we will need to have someone who has a keen eye for design, color schemes, layouts. Technology Add on We would like some who is skilled in adding features such as podcast, integrating our live stream to our website, video clips, online giving, and social media Understand Church Life This is a church website church so it is important to have knowledge and experience of churches life in general , especially in the initial phases of the design of the site. Communication with PM Our Project Manager(PM) will be the point of contact on insight into church proceedings and ministries. He has vast knowledge of church and will assist in the design process. We also would like some who gives comprehensible answers to our questions. Communication via email, Skype, or telephone Communication with Hosting Company As the point of contact you would need to in constant collaboration with the host company Site Maintenance (This would be another contract) maintaining the site, keeping content fresh and correct. But you can certainly make an offer that INCLUDES maintenance Budget and Bids Up to $1500, (higher cost is negotiable) Fixed, payments would be incremental based on meeting milestones. You can submit your proposal to EITHER build our website and/ OR develop our site from our Click 'n' Build" vendor using their template.
