VB6: Yahoo JP auction downloader

This is a pretty easy VB6 project. Basically, what you will do is download auction listings from yahoo japan's auction sites, parse the results, and save them in an access database (one table). Then, you will do a simple query on the data.

The project is described in very specific detail in the attached word file. Additionally, a VB6 project is included that shows what you need to do in great detail. Additionally, an ms-access database is provided. So, basically, most of the thinking has been done for you - you just need to code it.

This project should only take a few hours. The only tough part remaining is recognizing that you need to handle the unicode japanese strings a bit differently. I dont know how to do this - this is for you to figure out and do.

Dont worry if you dont know japanese. I have explained everything that you need to know in the word document. It is VERY straightforward. You dont need to know japanese to see the difference between japanese characters (meaning that you saved/encoded the data correctly) and a bunch of ????s, meaning that you did not.

If you wish to bid, please make sure that your bid clearly indicates (via an intelligent comment or question on your part) that you have read and understood the bid. I have spent a lot of time putting this bid together to make it easy for you to understand and do the work. If you just write back with something that says "we are expert coders we can do it", your bid will be treated as SPAM and reported to RAC as such. As you see by my RAC record, I do not mess around and know what I am doing.
