I need two Random Number Generators (RNG) in Visual Basic v.6 (a) Random Number Generator I - to randomize the following sequence: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,20,31,32,33,34,35,36 (b) Random Number Generator II - to randomize the following sequence: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,20,31,32,33,34,35,36,00 (c) Output: Fast generation of up to 2,000,000 (two million) numbers within the range(s); (d) Output format: 6 9 12 33 31 5 22 19 2 11 .. (e) Testing the RNG 1. Compile the source and execute the small program; 2. ‘Enter Random Numbers required:’ 10000 3. ‘Double Zero?’: No (i.e. Generator I) 4. ‘Generate’ and save ??" Filename [login to view URL] (f) I need the source code and whatever is needed to execute and compile the program; it will be part of a much larger program. Have now generated 10,000 random numbers from 0-36; we now need to know if the outcome is ‘random’. Use Pearson’s Chi-Squared statistic to test. * * *Background: The random number generator will generate a sequence of numbers from 0 to 36 and drive a notional single zero roulette wheel. The chi-squared statistic will indicate if the sequence lies within the expected distribution. NB: There is a lot of work waiting for someone good in both mathematics and programming. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
