PHP Script DB switch from MYSQL to MONGO DB

Hello, We run a PHP hit tracking script that runs with MYSQL but it uses too much resource and the databases do not support over 4000 connections. Currently we use a very powerful dedicated server to host the database only but still it is not enough. The stat script receives around 8000 connections per second. I need someone to switch the database of this PHP script to (MONGO DB) instead of Mysql. The stat site currently takes 45 seconds to redirect 1 hit which is very slow and it requires expensive hardware. I need very fast redirections with minimal server usage.
