RSS feed from database tables

Hello - I am interested in this project. Do you have any specific requirements on RSS Feeds or you can go with the standard RSS structure? Do you need the code that generates the Feeds for later use? Or I can create it in any tool. Thank You !!

Hi, I have reviewed your project description and I feel that I am the right candidate for the job. Even though I do not have much Joomla experience (I only took on one job once that involved working with Joomla), I do have experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP, and I have several years experience working with other content management systems such as Wordpress and Drupal. I maintain a couple servers that run drupal, and I also maintain a wordpress blog. I've done a lot of work with MySQL, whether that be reading a table, and geneating a web page based on the data in the table, or writing data out to a file (such as an rss feed or the most popular content or users). For this project, I could research how to create plugins/modules for Joomla to add in an rss feed. Alternatively, I could create a script (It could be in PHP or Perl, or some other language), and set up a scheduled task using crontab or whatever other scheduler is available on your server and have it call the script repeately or every so often to check the table, and update the rss feed whenever new items are added. Then we just need to add some link to the rss feed on your website. I would just need to have the script read the table, and then have it generate the rss feed.
