Hello.
I have had 2 attempts on this project fail now.
So.. we are going to break up the script upgrade in segments now.
If someone does a good job you will surely get all of our business. :)
The script below currently sends to all the hosting clients at once, but... it also sends multiple emails to clients that have all their sites hosted with us.
I would like the script to send ONLY to certain users. This function would have to include send to all clients, send to resellers only .... or list the servers IP (and I'll need to be able to add a server or change server IP as well), and send only to the clients we choose from the list.
Basically it would send to a specific server (from a checklist perhaps), all clients or resellers only.
Also, currently when I send to "ALL" the script sends duplicate emails to everyone.. if they have 5 accounts they get 5 emails...if they have 27 accounts they get 27 emails. I would like this stopped... and only send one email... so it would just have to basically stop sending any duplicates to email addys on the database.
When I suspend an account the script automatically sends them a notice... but I would like it to include a text box where I can input a message to the user as to why their account has been suspended
And finally.... our servers allow only 8 characters in the user name... sometimes people try to setup a user name that is more than 8 characters and I would like the script to give them an error page if they do and explain to them that the characters cannot exceed 8 and must begin with a letter.. all lower case and no special characters are allowed.
There are a few more small things we will want built into this script.. but this time it is going to be small steps instead of one large one.
Keep in mind when the script is ready to install it is going to be on a live and already heavily relied upon script! We cannot have any mistakes made and it cannot be down at any time.. or for more than 5 to 10 minutes.
If you have any questions please ask.
Escrow will be set when the project starts of course.
