I am currently hiring a small company to develop my small business website, using Magento ecommerce. Initally, I thought the team had experience in the website using magento. However, their experience may be not enough (maybe I am wrong, it is still developing). I like to hire a person to consult/check the current design, CSV files and template etc are efficent and meet our requirements. I don't like to re-do again on everything. Our products are lab products, so far, there are about 6000 products in the product list, each product has different size, that have about 13000 row in the excel sheet. the product profile will be constant once it set. but the price and availability information may be change frequently, what I know it can be uploaded by excel sheet daily or weekly or monthly (or CSV file?). that means we need to load these information by mass, not one by one. As you are having a huge data in your CSV file,and need to upload it timely, this task can be done by using Magmi extension which is a Magento Mass Importer used for importing and exporting in bulk from Magento, very fast. For the frequently changing information we can directly do modification in CSV file and update it, using Magmi only.
