Add features to existing iOS app and PHP backend

I have purchased an iPhone/iPad application template which provides a very basic interface to the user to allow them to place food orders which are sent to a PHP web back end. (I've included the link to the application i purchased at the very bottom which has more details but i will also include the source code and documentation that came with it to whoever works on the project) The iPhone/iPad app and PHP back-end code needs to be used to allow our customers to place orders for pick-up from their iPhone/iPads and have the order show up immediately on a PC running the PHP backend website in our cafe. The application i purchased currently does this to a very basic degree but i need some more functionality added and the ordering system to be easier to use from both ends. The website will be run from a touchscreen PC so any additions to the website need to take this into consideration. Buttons would be preferred over drop-down lists, etc. Currently the iDevice gets all the menu items, pictures, etc from the PHP site which allows for updating of the menu very easily. I would also need better control over the orders on both the website and iDevice (see further below for more detail.) The PHP site runs on MySQL and will require new tables and modification to existing ones to support the changes. Here is the basic functionality of the application right now: ==========CURRENTLY========== Currently the iOS application: Only allows the user to place an order for one item and then requires payment immediately through paypal. Requires the user manually sends the order details through an email (which the application generates) after paypal payment otherwise order is not sent to server Shows all menu items mixed together in a global "Menu" section Only shows the user the status of their order if they manually enter the order number AND if the order was manually entered into the PHP website. Currently the PHP admin website Can only add and remove items (no editing) Can only add and remove orders (for status') (no item details, only an order number) ==========CHANGES REQUIRED========== I need the iOS app changed to: Add user signup/login with basic details to allow users to log in and check orders, historical orders, etc. Allow the users to add multiple items to a cart and check-out when they are ready. Allow the users to either pay with paypal or specify to pay when they pick the order up. (order needs to show if it still needs to be paid) Allow the users to specify a time to pick up their order (sent as part of the order) Order must be sent to server upon successful payment (or if user selects to pay on pickup). Have a better menu system with specific menu sections to break up the items. The app should keep track of orders submitted and automatically update the status of them when the user navigates to the "order status" section Receive push notifications I need the PHP website changed to: Allow editing of items. (Item maintenance in general) Have a 'live' order page which shows the orders as they are submitted by the users (with all menu items from the order) (Auto-updating) Add options to update the status of the order on the live page from a defined list of items in the PHP admin site. (i.e. Received, Cooking, Ready for pickup, etc) Add ability to send push notifications to users (both from the live order page and from a separate page which allows you to specify user) Show historical orders (completed date, user) ==========LINK TO SITE PURCHASED FROM========== [login to view URL]
