We are a software development firm in the US, so we can provide numerous projects to the right person or company we hire. Bid accordingly and please provide samples of past work for us to review. We need a programmer that can help us with a database of airlines, airport codes, hotel names, cruise companies and car rental company names. We have these lists. Ff you go to [login to view URL] and type in the name of a city you get choices. The more you type you more you narrow your search. We need this functionality on our website. We dont need a travel booking engine, just the ability for people to search for city names and get results. For example on our future site, if I type "amer", I should see American Airlines, if I want to choose this airline, I would, just like [login to view URL], press the tab key and the result would stay in the field, then I would see results below the field Such as Results: Airline: American Airlines Toll Free: 1-800-555-1212 Website: [login to view URL] We have 8 pages on our site that we need this done for. So basically we would have to provide you with each database of info. but the functionality is just about the same for each. There are two pages that are unique, one for weather and one for currency. For currency, we want someone to type in a field, doll and it would display many choices. For example, United States Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Australian Dollar, we will use currency exchange rates from [login to view URL] to display results. if you go to [login to view URL] you will see they have drop down lists, we want to make ours work like [login to view URL] using ajax. For weather, a user should type in a city name and we will connect to data from [login to view URL] to display results, but agian the functionality is like [login to view URL] The pages are as followed: Airports, Airlines, Hotels, Car Rental, Cruises, Currency, Travel Guides, Weather. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
