I need some website optimisation to improve my google search ranking. I have ascertained the following activities are probably required, but would like advice on each one of these:- Make site w3c compliant. Change some structure in the page, but the layout will stay the same. (i.e. convert tables to Divisions) Improve links, anchor text and meta keywords. Keywords in page URLs [url removed, login to view] creation / Correct information specified in robots.txt. / Coder will install a [url removed, login to view] file on the buyer's website server to assist search engine robots in locating the [url removed, login to view] file. Check no duplicate content. Meta Tags Inclusion Internal linking, Alt tags Site map creation & install a "Sitemap" link on the home page which leads to a standard [url removed, login to view] file for search engine robots from the smaller search services to be able to index the site. Coder will prepare the [url removed, login to view] file. Directory Submissions Submission to all major relevant directories Please give me your initial thoughts and i will provide URL and the key words for review. Thanks
