flash renderings for virtual world 1

The project at its core is creating 100 flash renderings of 3d studio max objects or sketchup using a swift studio max plugin. The renderings will be placed inside a virtual world so they need to be proportional to each other. For example a 35" t.v. rendering would be bigger than a vcr. The other aspect of the project will require creativity. Suppose there's a bed that only have shades of white. The artist may want to create Ohio State bedsheets by turning the bedsheets into shades of white and red. Another example is applying marble, wooden textures to a kitchen sink. The winning bidder won't necessarily be the lowest bidder, but will be the one we feel we can work with the best. Depending on the performance on this project we have additional projects including: much more objects and design of the virtual world. The opportunity here is not only to work on flash renderings, but to express your creativity in a virtual world. The company is composed of almost entirely technical people, so you will not be working w/ non-technical people. Please consider the future growth opportunities in your bidding. Thank you. description of the entire process: 1. Import the 3ds object into 3d studio max 2. (if the object is mundane then apply textures, or change the colors of it) 3. Make renderings of the object in vector (Electric Rain 3dstudio max Swift plugin) or raster format (normal 3dStudioMax rendering engine) 4. Import it into Macromedia Flash 5. Choose the right template (2x2, 1x2, 3x3, etc) 6. Resize the object 7. Export it as a flash movie 8. Resize the object to a smaller version to make a thumbnail version 9. Export it as a movie 10. Upload it to the site and compare to the rest of the objects, if it looks large go to step 6 ## Deliverables 1) Complete 4 renderings 1 thumbnail flash movies of every 100 3ds or sketchup objects. These renderings must be proportional to other objects in the virtual world and we will provide a sandbox environment so the artist can see how proportional the objects are. The deliverables will include the second to last step with the flash template included in the object (a fla file) AND the original 3d file. 2) Please note that upon our acceptance of your bid we will have a very specific process outlined, much more specific then the above description. Sometimes it will be up to you to set the rendering paramaters, such as making the renderer use instead of "Cartoon Average Color Fill," use "Mesh Gradient Shading." It's up to you to see what the optimal rendering paramaters are. 3) Deliverables are preferred to be optimized by Optimazed or Flash Optimizer, but it NOT required. 4) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) list of items will be provided by the seller.
