This project is to test a web site. To test the site, you will need to perform the following tasks: 1. Record 30 audio files containing speech. You may do this by grabbing audio files off the Internet or recording your own voice reading something aloud (like a book or newspaper article) to an audio file (WAV or MP3 format). The lengths should vary between 1 - 30 minutes, evenly distributed. 2. Upload these files at various times during the day over a 48 hour period to my web site (an account will be provided). Try to evenly distribute the uploads over the 48 hours. 3. Note the time, date, and name of the upload (ideally in a spreadsheet). The web site will process these audio files and convert them into text (you do not need to do this, this is done by the site). Check the web site for completed uploads, then note when the transcription was completed, and the total time it took from upload to completion. 4. Upload the final spreadsheet and all audio files here on RAC. 5. Document any problems / issues you encounter with uploading files to the site or other feedback on the site.
