I am restructuring my website. Roughly 90% of the pages in the root of the domain will be moved to subdirectories of the domain. For instance a webpage named "[url removed, login to view]" that was in the root
ie. <[url removed, login to view]> will now be in a subdirectory like: [url removed, login to view]
I have links from all over the net that when they click on them they will go to the [url removed, login to view] page. When I move it to a subdiretory, it won't be there any more and they'll get the error message.
I need help with making the code (or whatever I need to do) to seamlessly take the reader to the page. It is absolutely vital I don't lose SE ranking. It's critical the SE's don't see it as trickery or spamming because it's not. It's simply taking them to a different location on the site.
My hosting company has no one who knows what to do.
The servers are Windows 2003 IIS6.
I want to get started on this in the next 5 days or so.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
4. I need a step by step instruction on what to do. You provide the code and the instruction and I will implement it. I will first confer with some SE experts to make sure what you say to do and use won't hurt my rankings. If it's acceptable, then I will try what you say to use and make sure it works for 5 to 10 pages. The sending of the spiders and visitors must be seamless and result in no ranking loss. With those conditions met, I should be satisfied.
