Microsoft Partner List Creation

Overview The Microsoft Worldwide Partner list at <[login to view URL]> is a publicly available list of all Certified & Gold Certified partners globally, searchable by vertical focus, certifications, geography, etc., displayed in an HTML table format. Project Description As a certified Microsoft ISV, we wish to obtain partner names and addresses into an import friendly format for entry into our CRM system. Our staffing limitations at present prohibit putting a resource on this full time. We are looking for a coder that can perform searches, obtain the web-based data from the fields, and enter this data into an Excel spreadsheet for our top 5 geographical regions. Future projects focused on other geographies are certain. Challenges As the search parameters limit the HTML table display to 10 per page and a maximum of 1,000 per search, the coder will need to perform multiple cross-reference searches, then remove duplicates, then provide a clean list. How the coder obtains the data, sorts and cleans the list is irrelevant, as long as close to the total number of partners in each country is included in the results. Search Parameters Countries: UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa Number of partner records: Maximum of 7,500 needed Certifications: Certified and Gold Certified partners only Specialisations: Advanced networking, networking, Small Business Specialist, Microsoft Business Solutions Results The resulting file should have the standard boilerplate company name, address, state/province, country, phone, fax, web site address, email address (if applicable), and any information on the partner's specialisation in applicable columns. ## Deliverables This project is more a data capture and entry project than creation of a program or code. As such, the following deliverables are fairly straight forward: 1) Confirmation of understanding of the duties involved in performing this task 2) A set price for delivery of a minimum of 5,000 names, maximum of 7,500 3) Timeline 4) Future work, at a per company record price (if possible) ## Platform The coder can use any technology at his or her disposal. The files to be delivered must be in an agreed upon format, such as Excel or some other data format that can be imported into a CRM system.
