Bids are invited from experienced & proven web developers to create a property portal site to help create a website for a UK based Estate agency, this project is for a completely new website, from design through to implementation, which offers two main services: TYPE OF PORTAL 1. Property Sales Section 2. Property Rentals Section The completed website should be able to implement both of the above sections the main requirements to consist of certain information (i.e. type of property, number of rooms etc). Once clicked upon, you can see that the key concept and similarities should be mirrored upon the following web portals to that of: [login to view URL] & [login to view URL] ## Deliverables We will aim to offer everything that the two companies offer within there sales and lettings part of their site, so our portal will be a basic clone of the two sites and we will aim to create a dynamic web portal, implementing the best of both web sites. The website visual will be dynamic including flash (this will be a clone based on a template which I will make apparent to you via mail at a later stage). This database driven portal will include various search criteria eg- the main being property (type, house, flat etc), area (postcode, city, etc) prices (min, max etc). All info can be found on the two sites mentioned. There should be the ability to create and update new site pages, news section, etc. The portal should also include standard security features especially for login areas. Creativity and attention to detail is paramount throughout the project as we seek to achieve a self- sustained portal with the latest advances in programming that is daring, cutting edge and in a different class to the existing estate agency property portals. It MUST be FAST and USER-FRIENDLY TO BOTH US & GENERAL PUBLIC searching for their property for sale or renting. The website should be an exceptional user friendly search engine, quick to update, modify and also be as dynamic as possible. ONLINE PAYMENT Also money transfer through internet banking will have to be implemented within the portal. Full online payment processing system should also be included in the design as the element of the system with the scope for a variety of options i.e. Pay Pal, Worldpay, and Credit Card Payments etc. Because of the online payment and Data Protection requirements the site should be exceptionally secure. Security is a major factor. SSL will play a part in the systems design We will also from our web portal be introducing an updated text message, which will be sent to customers at a later stage, to update customers on properties being added onto the system, so this feature will also have to be implemented within the site. There should be an admin area and a client area where people can login and manage their own property areas or the properties that they have previously saved, also the use of the customer/landlord details should also be made apparent to us, so we can update them with information on new properties, the portal should allow us to keep track of customers movements within our portal. The website should include a simple and an advanced search engine which visitors can use to search for properties for sale or rent, through a post code search, so the UK postal service will also have to be implemented within the site. Also a use of flash by implementing images of property and description/details, also the use of virtual tours will also have to be an option on some properties, for customers using the site. The best examples of the sort of website which this project should mirror are: I am looking for a slick modern/contemporary design, not too cluttered. Also the use of music will have to be implemented within the website. REMINDER With a view to a long term and mutually beneficial relationship we prefer that an established and innovative team take on this project, thus using their own codes, not third party! Companies bidding will need to show a list of credentials and verifiable achievements within this field to be considered. A fee as part of the whole bid should include support for 12 months if required for uploading data from new or existing software to our portal and for any application, security or script issues. We expect a complete and fully-functionable program in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Deliverables must be installed by the seller in ready-to-run condition in the buyers environment. All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire". Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased (no GPL,GNU or 3rd party components, etc) we will be considering the following payment options:- Release of funds on a stage basis- to be agreed upon by both parties. One of the above -mentioned stages to include prototype completion. A non- disclosure including exclusive and complete copyrights agreements to all work purchased must be signed before start of project. Under no circumstances will any money be released at the beginning of the project, before any work has been done. If you cannot accept this requirement then please do not bid on the project. We also require regular updates from the designated project manager and require that you respond to any issues within 24 hours and that you are available regularly by e- mail, phone and are fluent in English.
