Download Data from Internet and append to MS Access Table

I will provide a MS Access database with a table, form and command button. 1. Click the command button labeled Download Data from [login to view URL] 2. Go to [login to view URL] 3. In the area shaded green at the bottom of the page select [login to view URL] and open the file 5. Select the first file atab100d and open it using MS Excel 6. Data, Text to columns, delimited, space, Finish (For this explanation only) 7. Column A contains dates in a quarterly format the columns to the right are values associated with the column header 8. Example: DATES FA156010001.Q 195201 267500 Equals: DATES FA156010001.Q 03/31/1952 267500 Please scroll down to Row 216. NOTICE there is another dataset below each column! 9. Loop through and convert the all of the data into records. Append them to the MS Access table. Symbol FA156010001.Q Date 03/31/1952 Open leave blank High leave blank Low leave blank Close leave blank Settle 267500 Open Interest leave blank DataSource [login to view URL] TimeStamp The system time the record was added to the table DateStamp The system date the record was added to the table 10. Close file atab100d 11. Open file atab101d 12. Repeat steps 5-10 until all data in each file has been appended to the table 13. Show caption or msg in title bar of which file is currently being analyzed. 14. Repeat for: [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL],[login to view URL] Note: On [login to view URL] there are many datafiles. Eventually I will submit projects to perform this routine on all of them.
