The bigMoby ([[login to view URL]][1]) aims to raise money for charity through a new UK based mobile phone photo competition using premium rate sms text messaging. The majority of the website has been written although a number of new changes and additions now need to be added as part of a slight change in direction. The original developers are no longer available and so this project is for somebody to take on the development of the website, understand how it currently works and then carry out a number of enhancements and new features. For now we are looking to find the right kind of person to take on such a project and then will setup agreed projects on the rentacoder system for that person to follow and be paid for. ## Deliverables The system is written in php and mysql. It interfaces into our own SMS and MMS gateway at iTAGG ( [[login to view URL]][2]) and so any specific issues related to the delivery and receipt of SMS and MMS will be supported by myself and the itagg team. But in essence a very simple http/post interface is utilised for this. Basic use of the graphics library in php may be needed. As will a mechanism for displaying images on a website in a protected manner (as being able to download them to a mobile is a charged-for service). This may use watermarking or another mechanism and is open to suggestion. Interfacing to Paypal and iTAGG's own credit card mechanism may be needed for alternative payment methods and also for paying commissions to affiliates through the Paypal bulk pay facility. Most graphics are already designed although there may be some requirement for additional design work. The coder who takes this project on is primarily to focus on the development and so graphic design is a bonus. We may need to look for a seperate designer for this end of things. All wording will be provided by ourselves for insertion so an ability to write the blurb is not required. This is an ongoing project which for rentacoder coders will I guess mean us agreeing to fixed mini-projects along the way and we are open to ideas on how this may be carried out. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform php, mysql. to run on all internet browsers.
