Hello, We require a developer or a team or developers to create the following system for us. We are interested in people who would be interested in working for us full-time (no relocation needed, work from home) after this project is successfully complete. The system's components are as follows: * Proxy toolbar - Client-side Internet Explorer toolbar to manage the proxies on the user's computer. This toolbar updates itself with new proxies from the "Proxy Server" (see below). It should hook all HTTP requests from the user's computer to go through a proxy. *TO BE CODED IN C++* * Proxy server - Server which will serve the proxy list to the Proxy Toolbar clients. Should also have an administrative interface that supports common configuration operations. *PLEASE CHOOSE A TECHNOLOGY TO IMPLEMENT THIS - MAKE IT CLEAR IN THE BID* * Proxy gatherer bot - Server-side component which will harvest sites which have public proxy lists. The "Proxy Server" will communicate with this component to update its internal list of proxies with fresh ones. *PLEASE CHOOSE A TECHNOLOGY TO IMPLEMENT THIS, PROVIDED IT WILL RUN ON A LINUX SERVER - MAKE IT CLEAR IN THE BID* We do not need the same person to implement all the components. ## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
