We are looking for a group who has experience building a "YouTube" type video sharing component for an existing website. Must have experience using an asp.net 2.0 third party software. We do not want this developed from scratch. The software must be highly configurable to incorporate into our existing GUI, and must also work with ms sql. Solution should use asp.net 2.0. We want to plug own master page file to transfer design from current site. Ability to customize look very important. We think that solution based on FFMPEG (SharpFFMPEG) library can work good for video encoding. Code should be well commented, designed using master pages and user controls. Also, we want to plug our membership system, so need info about exist membership providers."Interested parties must be able to provide us with sample sites they have created with a third party software solution. ## Deliverables
We have an ASP.NET 2.0 website. We wish to allow users to upload videos to share with other users. Can you also answer these questions in yourt bid, or during our Requirements discussion. The site uses MS SQL database? and some AJAX 1. Users will be able to upload their videos in various formats (from Cell phones, cameras, video cameras, webcams). Q. which formats must we be able to accept? 2. We need to be able to accept these formats? and then convert them into a format that is compatible with all browsers, or requires the easiest plug-in process (quick time? windows media player? one for mac, one for pc?) Q. Explain the approach to this requirement. Q. which format(s) are best for the user experience, and DO NOT require complicated plug-in downloads. Explain. 3. we will limit the upload size to? 4 mb Q. Is this sufficient for 2 minutes of video with sound at good quality. (the display will be around 320 x 200 pixels) 4. will we need compress the video during conversion? Q. Is this a good idea? Q. How should this be done 5. the video info is stored to the DB Q.
