I need to be able to propagate some webpages without having to manually select items on a webpage and clicking Submit. **This probably requires cURL knowledge or the like** (which I dont have).
Its not as simple as just finding the <form name & value elements and appending them to the resulting URL. It uses a bit of Javascript and does this in the end:
**<form action="/[login to view URL]" method="POST" name="form1" ID="Form1">
**
The site uses Javascript to "Submit" commands
and has a form named 'form1' and based on the source of the file it does the following:
[login to view URL]['form1'].submit()
here is the form action:
No SSL required (its http://) and the site does not uses SessionID's. I know that they use cookies though (this might or might not have anything to do with it).
I NEED TO KNOW HOW I CAN DO THIS EITHER BUY LAUNCHING A URL TO GET THE DESIRED ACTION (I WILL USE A SCRIPT ON MY END and screen scrape the results) OR IF YOU COULD USE THE UTILITY cURL WHICH WILL PROPAGATE.
BASICALLY TEACH ME HOW TO GET THE DESIRED RESULT (I CAN PASS COMMAND LINE PARAMETERS TO cURL).
I have attached the originating html source of the page where you select and submit the items. I have also included the .js javascript file it uses.
