61143 Clean-up and re-write.

We are a directory of study abroad programs in the UK. We maintain a large database of schools and their programs, which students are able to use for research. Our site needs some major clean-up and re-writing. We are aiming to streamline our website, add some features, make it easier to use, and easier to work on in the future. Whether things need to be stripped down and fixed, or completely re-written is up to the programmer provided all of these requirements are met: 1. Clean-up unused files from FTP Server. 2. Remove unused Database fields. 3. Clean-up code to remove unused references and classes. 4. Add comments to code to make it easy to understand. 5. Move all Database Connections to one master class. 6. Universalize site code to all use the same programming language. 7. Re-work functionality of several Web Based tools. De-bugging, etc. 8. Add features to Web Based tools. 9. Create flow sheet of file references and database tables. (See attached) 9. Extensive testing and de-bugging. 10. Explain detailed information about the programming to our webmaster. Due to the broad changes that are going to be made, we would prefer to have our re-worked site be developed and demonstrated on a test server before we make the changes to the live server. Please quote for the entire project. As this is going to be a longer project we will use script-lance escrow, and make several incremental payments on a regular basis. We do reserve the right to discontinue using a programmer. Should we choose to discontinue a programmer they will be paid up to the current incremental payment, and no further work or payment will be expected of either party. The programmer that is chosen is expected to work on the project to completion. If you are unable to work on an ongoing project please do not bid.
