Access Conversion to ASP

We are looking to convert our current Access 2000 application to an ASP based web version. Currently the system is setup with the backend on a central server and each client (max 5) have the frontend on their computer. W have decided to try and get some bids using screen shots of the application. We will send selected coders the MS Access 2K application after an NDA has been signed so you can get a better idea of the time you think it will take. We would prefer the backend to be an Access DB (dnsless) unless someone can convince us otherwise. There are 7 Major sections to the application: Contracts Cost Sharing [login to view URL] Reporting Cash Management Data Management Search Contracts and Cost Sharing are pretty basic database queries with some subforms. Currently the application allows for electronic billing ([login to view URL]). The way it works is there are certain "backup" documents stored on the server, when the client is ready to bill their customer, they fill in the invoice information and click create billing packet. Then the application attaches the new invoice with the other documents which then is emailed to their customer. If this part is going to be too difficult, I wouldn't be opposed to having them fill in the invoice data and then we can manually create the invoice with the data they supply. Please let me know if you have included this section in your bid or not. The reporting section includes about 20 different reports. Almost all have criteria fields to make the reports more specific. We will need to addresss some security issues also. Feel free to ask questions. We would expect that you would have some. If you have completed similar tasks, please leave a URL that we could check out.
