I've been studying and working in Photoshop and Lightroom for almost 8 or 9 years, so I am very fluent with the software. I work as a freelance photographer for the same amount of years and as you would guess it I've retouched hundreds of thousands of photos, so I can guarantee that my knowledge will be put to good use. I like to think that my culling eye is near perfection, it is one of the main abilities that any photographer should have. Sometimes you have to get ice cold and choose only a few good photos from one episode, so it would shine as a part of a series, despite that every photo from that scene may have a potential wow-effect.
My shooting and editing experience is wide, I have done events, weddings, business and corporate shoots over the years, and family and children photography is my main area of expertise now. So you can expect from me the most important thing in editorial work - I understand how a photo should look like on each occasion, and you can bet that I understand every bit of aspect of photographer's job. I consider an editor to be an extension of photographer's hand, which helps to deliver a final product to a client. An editor is not a some editing machine, every edit needs to have a thought to it before even you start using your first instruments, so I hope you'll agree with me on this.
