LaTeX PDF Image Tooltip Macro Adjustment

How to use LaTeX to add tooltip to image with tooltip annotation widget in hidden state. This project is based on the simple method to add tooltip to an image with: \usepackage{pdfcomment} \pdftooltip{\includegraphics{[login to view URL]}}{This is the ALT text} This appears to work visually, however my requirement is that the background annotation widget button holding the tooltip must be 'hidden' for use in a downstream processor. Unless it is hidden the button mouse event handler is active, causing interference. This can be set by editing with Adobe Acrobat Pro but I need it set directly by the LaTeX code please.
