This leadership position will take ownership of our IT Roadmap, make a significant an immediate impact on our team and progress towards a VP of Engineering position in the short-medium term.   Confortable working within a start-up environment and passionate about software development, you will come on board to assume end-to-end accountability of the full project lifecycle, push boundaries and have fun while reinforcing a digital proposition destined to disrupt traditionally analogue industries.     Summary of Core Requirements: Symfony; Propel/Doctrine; BD MySQL & NOSQL; REST Services; AngularJS; Bootstrap and HTML5; Nice to Have: Design Patterns; CodeIgniter; Laravel; JSON; D3JS   Detailed Skills and Experience 6+ years of working experience constitutes the ideal foundation of the required full cycle software engineering skill set, gained through the delivery of high quality code in complex projects A deep understanding of PHP frameworks such as Symfony 2, CodeIgniter, and Laravel; JavaScript MVC frameworks such as AngujarJS enhanced with HTML5 API, Bootstrap styling and jQuery events and relational databases, including MySQL and NOSQL Keen to experiment with Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing technologies, such as TensorFlow and Flask, and Big Data Architectures including Apache Hadoop, Hive, using MongoDB as main database Solid understanding of server side technologies including Amazon Web Services as well as server – client communications via APIs   The Person Behind the Role This is an amazing opportunity to leverage your creative problem solving capabilities, as you will play a leadership and internal trusted advisory role.
