Use AWS Lambda and API Gateway to Create a REST GET API from another REST GET API

I am primarily a nodejs developer and will do this with node-fetch library and few serverless components. I should be able to do this in few hours if you provide me AWS access, do let me know over chat this seems straight forward, still putting a few days because I don't know if there's any processing involved. You are absolutely right that you would need AWS lambda and AWS Api gateway for this. Do you need it to run like a job (cron) or would you hit the API manually?
