I have already worked on such situation , connecting Power BI to mongodb as a datawarehouse , I implemented my solution in less than 2 days because of the framework that i'm using , contact me for more details . Odbc is not recommended because of its low performance , using an intermediate backend is the best solution . good results is guarented .
