Battery improvement for Bluetooth LED device

I am not adding my template proposal here because i want to say something specific about your project. For this project you don't need android/IOS developer for increasing battery timing, for that task you will need embedded system individual. To achieve battery timing of more than 1 month you will need smart firmware and hardware design that will put your device into deep sleep mode and in that mode power consumption will be less that 5uA. I have experience of more than 3 years for designing smart IOT devices that can withstand battery timing of 5 years. If you will hire me i will design complete product that will include hardware,PCB design ,firmware and very basic app.I will also provide you complete guide for developing professional APP from developer. I also know some controllers that have inbuilt Bluetooth, for your project they will be perfect.

Hi, I have worked in ultra low power hardware and firmware development at MIT, and controlling an LED is easy to do. My approach to your system would be to: 1. Make a detail power consumption list and see what are the most power hungry components. 2. Change components to a suitable energy efficiency / cost 2.1 Power consumption design considerations: Use efficient DC-DC converter step-up/step-down (if necessary) Use PWM to dim down the LED consumption Add a photosensor to detect ambient light and adjust the brightness accordingly 3. Build the prototype version of the HW where you can measure the power consumption of each component. 4. Validate the expected design I am an EE engineer, in Boston.
