i need a freelancer that can develop an iPhone application Functions The Mobile/Tablet App will have the following basic screen functions, but we expect the developer to also suggest functionality that we may not be aware of: - Splash Screen - Main Screen - More-News Screen - Photos Screen - Videos Screen - Audio Stream Screen - Settings menu It can be delivered as either three apps, or a single app with a language changer. Given that most users will only use one language, it may be best to make a variety of single language apps. Search-bar: It will have a search-bar, capable of searching any-news. A categories button should give the user option to choose news from 13 news categories offered by us. These news-categories are text-based categories. Photos, Videos and Audio clips are either complementary to the news item or standalone. Subscription: The mobile application is subscription based, thus access to news and other related items are restricted to only paid subscribers. Unsigned customers, upon clicking a new-story, should be taken to the sign-up/ sign-in page. The sign-up page must be linked to the payment options page. It may need to interface to the website subscriber database via an API. Alert/notification: users of the mobile application should get a manual push notification for news-alerts and automated notification when new standard stories are added. Users should be able to opt-out of the notification/sounds, etc through the settings of the mobile applications. Social Media Share: Each news-story, photo, video and audio item should have the shared button through social media function, allowing users to share stories to their friends and followers. The buttons should be for: Facebook | Twitter | others? General Pages: Contact us, Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Sitemap. Request to buy: Users should be able to select a photo/video/audio and then press a button to request to buy. The users should receive an email with the link and code of the desired news item. A copy of the email should be sent to an assigned marketing personnel at us, who will then contact the person directly with the price offer. Read Later: Users should have the option to save news-stories and read them later, without the need to dig them through hundreds of other articles. Choice of News-Categories: Users should have the option to select and deselect news-categories. For example, a person may choose to view news from us covering topics such as women, security, economy and he may not wish to read about sports, etc. MAP: Users should have the option to press the where button and see a map opening showing the location of the news-story. Rotation: The mobile application should be rotational, allowing the user to hold her device vertically or horizontally. Send a story/ Send a photo/video/audio: Logged in users should be able to send files to the administrator of the mobile app at usheadquarters. Incoming contents will be viewed/checked/verified before the editorial team decides to use it. Database CRUD: The mobile application will use the same MySQL subscribers table that the website is using and the app will CRUD (Create, Read, Update, and Delete) records. Create: When a customer wants to subscribe the app creates records. Read: When a user tries to login the app checks the entered login credentials. Update: When the user changes any fields of their account the app updates records. Delete: and we will need the source.
