First of all I need to stay that this should be a very easy app to write for a person with experience in Android programming.
I am a programmer myself, and if somebody had me write code, I would request very precise and detailed instructions. Likewise, I am giving you here precise and detailed instructions knowing that this will make your life easier.
I would learn Android programming if I had time and write the code myself. The problem is that I only have ten days to finish this and there is no time for learning. If I could write this in Visual Basic I would probably finish it in a day, so if you have experience in Android programming, this is fast and easy money.
This is a project that I have to turn in at the university and I have a strict deadline, so please bid only if you are confident that you will be able to deliver on time.
I need a simple (and rather silly) geography educational android app. The name of the app will be "Conoces los departamentos de Nicaragua? Estás seguro?" ('Do you know the provinces of Nicaragua, are you sure?").
These are the specifications:
When run, the program will display a small image of our country and a simple text message below with the caption "Conoces los departamentos de Nicaragua? Estás seguro?" and the buttons" start" and "quit" below.
If the user taps the "quit" button the program should ask for "do you really want to quit?" and "cancel".
The "quit" button should always be present during the game at the bottom or any other unobtrusive place.
When started, the program will display a score (initially zero), the map of our country, Nicaragua, with each of the seventeen provinces in different colors, and below, the name of one province selected randomly. After the province appears, it should not appear again and the game continues until all the seventeen provinces have passed, or the user exits by tapping the 'quit' button.
Please note that each of the province on the map is drawn in a unique color. This is to make the program much easier to create. All the code has to do is to read the color of the pixel that was tapped, and compare it with each of the seventeen colors to find a match. If a match is found, the matching subroutine should return the number of the province that matched (0-16) and then the calling code will go on from there. The program will ignore a tap that does not match any of the seventeen colors, regardless of whether the tapped color belongs to a border between provinces (black), the ocean (blue), or to a bordering country (gray).
When the user taps on one of the provinces, if he selected the right one, the program will make a ping sound, display a "correcto!" message for a few seconds, increase the score and display a picture of the capital city of that province with a message below like "The capital city of the province of Carazo is Jinotepe", wait for, say, five seconds and then display the next question; that is, the next random province for the user to tap.
The seventeen sentences, in Spanish, are:
