Develop a Marketing Plan

We are a speciality home inspection service located in Houston, Texas that focuses on testing electromagnetic fields in residential homes. You can see our website at www.houstonemf.com. This is a new business, so I would like for someone to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for the business. I have no experience in marketing, so I am not sure where to start. But, I imagine that I would want someone to help me decide whether to focus on search engine marketing, internet ads, publication ads, brochures, other media or a combination of these different marketing avenues. Once we've decided on a framework, I would want you to provide precise instruction on how to execute each portion of the framework. For example, if you recommend that we focus on search engine marketing and internet ads, how do we do that and who or what is targeted. If you recommend that we make brochures or handouts, I would want the plan to include a list of targets in where to hand these out around the Houston, Texas area (for example, I would think natural health centers, chiropractor clinics and healthy restaurants would be a good target -- you will have to do the research as part of your project and provide the list of contacts). Finally, the plan should also include an estimate of the costs for engaging in the different types of marketing and what can be achieved for different price levels. I've never done a marketing plan before, so if you have other suggestions on what should go into the plan or how this should be structured, or what I really need, please let me know.
