Write script to read info via telnet

I need a script (preferably Linux/Bash, but can be Windows/Powershell or other, but it must be a script) that connects to a remote server via telnet, logs in and executes some commands. The last executed command runs an application that constantly updates the terminal screen with some data. Script needs to read that info (info changes every second) every ~3 seconds and execute another script to pass the data read. After 1 hour (should be configurable) script must close telnet session and repeat all the process again. I will not be able to provide connection to live system but will provide screenshots, video and will perform tests. There will be no advance payment. I will provide the screenshots of the actual telnet screen to be read to selected candidates. Please indicate what kind of script/tools you would be using for this task and how long it should take.
