Goal of the project is to produce step-by-step tutorial howto set up pgpool cluster using two postgresql nodes as both primary servers and virtual IP for pgpool cluster.
You have to setup pgpool2 cluster solution using pgpool2 version 4.1.1
You also need to setup pgpooladmin using version 4.1.0.
You need to setup this solution on Ubuntu 18.04.4!, Centos is not acceptable.
The best place to start with this tutorial and setup for Ubuntu would be - [login to view URL]
however i am not going to accept a simple re-write of this tutorial. Tutorial needs to be step-by-step proccess. Pgpool is the only solution that allows both node-s to be master servers. This needs to be explained how to accomplish that.
Requirements:
You have to be able to setup two servers in local network, each server having different LAN ip.
For example:
Node 1 - [login to view URL]
Node 2 - [login to view URL]
Pgpool - 192.1680.100 (virtual IP)
After you have finished your tutorial and also set up both servers i will need to verify it in two steps.
1)You will have to enable SSH port for external network.
2) Both Virtual servers must be exported to vdi format and shared to me via Google Drive or some other means.
NB! Read the goal of this post before applying for this project, i will only release funds if tutorial is complete and i am able to login to your servers via root and both virtual servers are uploaded to cloud where i can download them.
There will be no half payments, only full work of the project!
