I have a very simple website with the following Joomla parameters: Joomla! Version Joomla! 3.1.5 Stable [ Ember ] 01-August-2013 14:00 GMT Joomla! Platform Version Joomla Platform 12.2.0 Stable [ Neil Armstrong ] 21-September-2012 00:00 GMT Recently it appears to have a script embedded in it that shoots out spam, as evidenced by me daily getting dozens of "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender" messages, with all the messages going to Russian email addresses. I have changed my webmail password to no avail. My hosting company has told me that the problem must be due to an embedded script - how that happened is a total mystery to me as the site is just informational about my practice. I am looking for someone to check out my site, find the offending script [and anything else that was placed there by someone else], eliminate it, and let me know how to prevent this kind of thing in the future.
