Hi, I'm Matt Sergei - do call me Matt - and here’s your solution (saves generated SVG from the page to PNG):
It cannot be done using “plain” PHP since you need to save the web browser image AFTER the javascript creates a chart with D3.js and render it.
So the requirements are:
1. PHP 7+
2. Ability to install additional PHP libraries with composer (if you have used Google Cloud SDK for PHP - same thing) and libraries with node/npm.
3. Script related:
3.1. Will the page URL be fixed and only parameter will change, in the same order as this:
where “62” and “[login to view URL]” will change?
3.2. Where (web server folder) should the image be saved (or maybe should a script return it back as a response)?
3.3. What format should the image be saved/returned? Presuming PNG with JPG also an option.
The bid is half my daily rate (150 EUR) and cannot be negotiated because I’m incorporated and this is the lowest amount. So please don’t waste time to message me that (or try to negotiate the bid as employers from India only do - the bid amount is what it is).
The deliverables will be a script with instructions how to install it and its dependencies.
Otherwise I’m a webmaster and IT developer for 26 years, scripting web charts/animations for 7+ years primarily with SVG, D3.js and GSAP.
Looking forward to your reply and hope you’re safe,
Matt
