Hello, I have worked on KNN algo implementation in my ongoing project so I've idea about how it's developed. But I used Pig as the underline language in order to align with technology stack that projects are running on. Hence I believe I can implement this KNN in Java language also. The only detail I would like to know is the size of the training dataset. If it is huge then it will give a performance hit in Java as java will load the entire data set in the program and then perform the analysis. In case the size is huge, then I might need to go for Map-Reduce approach or some different path. And just now I have tried and got the sample MapReduce program ready for this KNN. All I do is to change some configuration as per your need and feed the training dataset to this program and it will start producing output. Now I can complete your tasks in 2 days only at the same bid rate. if you give a chance to me then this will be my first freelance project.. :) Note:- I am not using any third party library.
